Almond butter cookies?

Will they taste just like PB cookies? I have no PB, just almond butter, and I was about to start making cookies. I'm also a little worried about the consistency of it. I usually buy a creamy PB for baking, not the kind where the oils separate.

I would think it would still work, but it does have a distinct taste so probably wouldnt be the same at all.  Be something to try though? I love almond butter so I'd think they'd turn out pretty tasty ;o)
