Fit concerns on newborn

I have newborn prefolds, but decided I liked the kissaluvs fitted better, atleast until she grows out of size 0. I knew cd were going to be bulky, but I'm concerned that it's constricting range if motion. Any input? Thanks in advance. Sorry for any typos, bumping from my phone.

  • I did not use the KL0, we used GMD PFs in the beginning and yes they are bulky, but they won't constrict LOs range of motion. My DS wore PFs for abut 4 months before fitting into BGs and he is now almost 10 months and he crawls and cruises everywhere :) your LO will be fine ;) GL

  • Range of motion wasn't an issue for us.  DD didn't move around a lot at first really.  KL0s are bulky on a NB, but that's b/c they fit until around 15 lbs.  I loved the for NB diapers & found PFs to be much more bulky on her.

  • I did worry about mobility when DS was itty bitty. For a while, he hated sitting, only wanted to stand up (with support, obviously), and I wondered if the CDs were cutting into his belly and making it uncomfortable to sit.

He's now 10 months, still in CDs, and I WISH they were restricting his mobility. LOL. He's all over the place crawling, and starting to walk now, too. No problems!

  • Ok, thanks. I was worried that she could flex her hips or legs very well, but she doesn't seem to mind being in them. They must be comfy on her bum, because she loves to poop in them.
