How long did it take for AF to show up?

after your D&C? It's been 5 weeks since my D&C and no AF in sight.

 My dr said it could take up to 6 weeks and to call after that. 

 

I'm just anxious and would like to get that first AF over with.

    33 days, mine wasn't heavy either. Everyone is different.

    Mine took 14 weeks, but mine was on the long side...I should have called my doctor sooner and then my doctor was kinda an idiot...but anyway. Do call after 6 weeks.

    I think this varies pretty dramatically for everyone.  Mine took 5 weeks and I tend to have a shorter cycle so this was well past my norm.  My dr said 4-6 weeks.  My first AF was VERY heavy.

    Took me 43 days to get AF.  It was REALLY heavy for the first day, normal for the rest. 

    BFP#1: 7/14/10.  EDD: 3/19/11--MMC-- D&C 9/2/10.
    BFP#2: 12:22/10.EDD: 8/30/11 C/P 12/25/10
    BFP#3: 10/26/11 EDD: 7/2/12-- Daniel born 7/14/12.     I got my AF 4 wks post D&E.  My baby had stopped growing 2wks before my D&E, so the m/c process had already started.  I would stay it took a total of 6wks for me to get my AF.

    I just got mine at 4.5 weeks after my D&C but my doctor told me it could take as long as 6 weeks. Mine was also a little heavier then it was before, but lasted just as long as my normal one would. Hope yours comes soon, I know that wait seems like forever.

    Definitely check out the TTCAL blog that was mentioned.  Lots of good info in there.

    Mine just happened, 28 days after the D&C, 6 weeks post m/c. It was normal and I was relieved that I didn't have any nasty cramping or anything like during the m/c. Hope yours comes soon!
