Suggest a name for DD!
I've always liked Grace and would like to consider it for a first or middle name. We also like Isabelle or Isabella. I love Elizabeth, but we can't use that name.
I'm open to any suggestions. Something to get us thinking and talking would be nice.
DS's name is Chase Davis. I know it's hard not knowing our last name... but just throw out your favorite girl names!
Re: Chase's sister needs a name
If you like Grace, Isabelle and Elizabeth, you might like:
Evelyn
Charlotte
Jane
Catherine
Eleanor
Lillian
me too!
fwiw - Grace Kelly's middle name was Patricia :-)
I think Grace is a beautiful middle name. I don't know about a first name with Chase--it might be a bit rhymey (or cute). They will forever be linked with family members etc. as Chase and Grace. But I love a longer, two syllable classic name like Isabella with Grace as a middle.
If we'd had a girl instead of DS we were playing with more off-the-wall names (our first DD is Rhiannon)...some of the ones we were tossing around: Harper, Piper, Paisley, or my DH really liked Violet though I'm not sure it was my favorite.
Thanks girls. This decision process is going to be very long.
If DS was a girl he would be Grace, but I agree with PP that Chase and Grace might be a little to much rhyme time for me. Plus if we have more children their names won't fit the little family jingle.
My Blog
This! I think Isabella Grace is a beautiful name. Here are some names that could get you thinking as well: Adriana, Julia, Clara, Harper, Hailey, Hannah, and Maya.
I hope I didn't come off as snarky! I didn't mean to be. I have a friend named Grace and her brother is Jason and even though they're not the same syllable it's always "Grace and Jace" and it drove her crazy.
My cousin is Chase. His middle name is Andrew and his last name is Peacock. So his name is Chase A. Peacock.
So maybe a little rhyme isn't too bad?
Isabella Grace is very pretty. Others I like are:
Sophia Grace
Ava Grace
Evelyn Grace
Stella Grace
These were on our list:
We ended up with: Gianna "Gigi" Grace
Arabella, Aspen, Charlotte, Elise, Cadence, Elizabeth, Tatum, Shae, Brooke, Alisa, and Madeleine.
if our next one is a girl, we like Grayson (NN Graycie) or Peyton and June or Reese for middle names.
my cousin and her hubby are having a boy, but if he were a girl he would have been named Claire. i think that is very pretty, and kind of in the same vein as Grace - but it's not a rhymer.
Not snarky at all!!!
Gianna Grace is another love of mine. However, Georgianna is a family name (grandmother, aunt, cousin) and my cousin goes by Gianna.
Last night DH finally threw a couple suggestions on the table: Reese, Belle, and Brynn.
