Adoption update

Our social worker called this evening.  She said that we will begin our DT (Deciding Together) class will begin on January 8 and will go for about seven weeks.  We'll be able to start our home study and background checks once we have completed the class.  She is coming to our tiny town to give us the class and my good friend/pastor and her husband are taking it with us!

I'm very excited and anxious to get this show on the road!

I have heard nothing about the match in weeks.  I think it is safe to assume that someone changed their minds and that it isn't a possibility anymore.

I was going to ask you about this too. I hope they don't keep getting your hopes up like that.

She asks far too many questions for us to leave her in the dark...lol.  We have told her we are going to try to get her a brother or sister.  She is very insistent that she wants a sister.
