Today the m/s seems to kicking in more. I made my self a salad for lunch with lots of veggies and some croutons and I was so excited to eat it! Took one bite and could not swallow. Had to spit it out because I was gagging so much ( and actually thinking about the taste makes me gag) How am I supposed to eat healthy for the 2 of us if I cant eat much?

Re: How am I supposed to eat when I cant =(
While I am keeping food down, I have no appetite, certain foods are repulsive and I have lost a few pounds... I have been forcing myself to eat as nutrient-dense foods as I can (cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, broccoli) and as much as I can at that time (just a spoonful, 1/2 an egg). I can't necessarily eat a full meal in one sitting... every few days I can, but mostly I'm eating it little bits or snack sizes.
I've also read to just eat whatever you can keep down, even if its potato chips. Something is better than nothing.
Im having grilled cheese tonight for dinner. Mac and cheese sounds good too. I can eat fruit no problem, so I guess I should pack those in.

I had mac'n'cheese with steamed broccoli mixed in last night. It sort of made the broccoli more palatable. Eating a straight-up salad as a meal right now does not sound appealling at all. The pumpkin pie milk shake I had last night and the bowl of ramen I had the night before were AWESOME. Eat whatever your body tells you it wants right now (within reason), take your vitamins and you'll be all good.
I'm the same way. As of yesterday, I haven't been able to hold down water without vomiting. The doctor suggested an OTC anti-nausea liquid, so we picked that up and it came back up within minutes.
Today was the worst just because I was so hungry and nauseated at the same time. After several episodes of vomiting, I called my doctor's office to see if they could call in something to my pharmacy. I feel like such a failure for starting meds even though I've heard they are safe.
Zofran has worked wonders for me, though. If I have another day like this, I know what will work next time.
I keep trying different soups, and pick at whatever foods dont make me want to leave the room.
My doctor suggested B6 to combat nausea, and other B vitamins are great for a safe energy boost, so with docs blessing I added a B complex vitamin to my prenatals. So far its working like a charm, tho I still have to be careful not to eat too much at one time.
