Talk To Me About Your Smartphone

Right now I have an iPhone and I'm sooo over it. The service with AT&T is sh!tty in my area, so I'm on the hunt for a new phone. What kind of smartphone do you have? Why do you like it? And what special features does it have?

Re: Talk To Me About Your Smartphone

  • I just have Motorola's Droid, which is, of course, a Windows OS. If you bought the iphone because you wanted the mac OS, then you might not like the Droid. It is comparable to the iphone in ability and features. The Droid Ally has a bigger screen if you will consume a lot of media.

  • i have the droid 2- i love that it has a real keyboard.

  • We have sprint and have always had good service. It roams off of Verizon towers for free.

    I have a blackberry which I like for what I use it for, FI just got the Evo and loves it. The only thing he has a hard time with is the touch screen key board. There is the Epic that is one step under the Evo and has a slide out keyboard.

    When I upgrade in Feb I will probablt go with the Evo or Epic.

    All of my life I have been waiting for all you give to me You
  • I have a Palm Pre Plus and I love it! Only draw back I've found so far, I can't figure out how to post on TB from it. But everything else is wonderful. {And that's coming from someone who gets tired of phones fast and buys a new one every 6 months. Yes, I've had this longer than 6 months.}

  • We (DH & I both) have the Droid X and love it! Personally, I prefer the Android software to the iPhone. Same concept with multiple screens, except Droid phones have "widgets" which allow you to modify every screen with anything from calendars, to photos of LO, to icons like you're used to on your iPhone. It's a very cool and VERY fast device.

    This is assuming it works the same way as the droids & iphones, but you have to disable java script. It should be in settings.

  • We have Sprint service and I recently ditched my HTC Hero for the Evo, while my husband got the Samsumg Epic.  I like that the Epic has the slider keyboard, and the screen seems brighter, but those are the only adviantages it has on my Evo.  I love, love, love my Evo.  Everything is at your fingertips from checking email to watching Facebook.  My only gripe is that it is a little big, but I can get over that.
