Anyone use a 1 wetbag per change system while out?

As in, you have a couple of small size wetbags and you put the diaper & wipes needed for a change in each one, then you just have to grab the wetbag for a diaper change.  Take out the clean diaper & wipes, load up with the dirties, zip up.  Grab a new one for the next change.

It seems like this might be a bit easier than digging through the diaper bag, dealing with a bulky wetbag, etc...

  • We do this.  We leave a bag in the car with diapers and wipes.  Then I bring as many small wetbags as I think I will need.  I take them one at a time.  At this point I will rarely need more than 1, but yea.  I hate carrying too much stuff.

  • I do this, sort of. I fill our large diaper bag with as many small wetbags with diapers and wipes as I think I'll need.

I then put one wetbag with 1 diaper and wipes inside in our small diaper bag. We can't get by without a diaper bag. We need the bibs, burp cloths, and receiving blankets (which double as burp rags for us. He spits up enough to soak one sometimes). But this is way preferable to lugging the huge diaper bag around.
