Does Anyone Have A Cricut?

I'm thinking about buying a Cricut and have been pricing them. I found them at Jo Ann Fabrics for what I think is a reasonable price. The Cricut Personal Cutter is on sale from $199 to $79 (now its marked down to $59) and the Cricut Expression is on sale from $399 to $199. I am going to be using it for DD#2 birthday and for DD#1 school projects. Will the basic one work or should I spend the extra money and buy the Cricut Expessions. Can someone tell me the main difference between the two? Thanks!

I have the personal and I wish I would have gotten the expression.  I've had mine for 3 yrs now and am totally looking into upgrading.  The personal you only can use a maximum of 6x12 paper, the expression you can use a full 12x12 sheet of paper.  That's really the main difference between the 2.

Have you been pricing them. Is $198 a good price?

Walmart has it for $175 right now.  I'm waiting to see if it will go down to $150, but $175 is a really good price.

Ohhh, I'm jealous.  I want one!  I was going to ask for one for Christmas last year and turn our spare bedroom into a craft room where I could sew and scrapbook.  Then I got BFP and that whole idea went out the window.  DD1 got the bedroom, and all my stuff is in boxes in the top of the closet.
