After looking at your sig and seeing beyond the cuties on the shelf, I'm intrigued by the wall behind them. What is that on the wall? Wallpaper? It looks really interesting (in a very good way).

Oy. It is paint. Long story short....when we bought the house, the previous owners had the house painted in insane colors. This particular room was super bright lime green with a painted border  (pale pink and green flowers inside the border). When we got the house repainted, we thought it might look cool to have him tape off the dividing line to the border and paint the inside one shade darker..so he did, and that is how it came to be.

I like it. It's the white part that looks so interesting to me. From the picture, it looks like stitching or something. It's a great detail!

Thank you! The white part is the outline of the border. It's a thin white line with tiny black squares. It's definitely what makes it more interesting. It's definitely unique!

What an improvement! What were they thinking with the lime green? And then a flower border?

You did a great job. I love that you continued the color on the ceiling too. It makes crown moulding really pop. It's much more inviting now!
