15 mo DD has sinus infection :(

We haven't taken her to the pediatrician for it because we KNOW they're just going to prescribe an antibiotic and we REALLY don't want those. She's got the thick yellow/green snot indicative of an infection. Can anyone recommend a "home remedy" aside from a saline wash that we should attempt? TIA
