Gavin has 4 games. He got the Leapster for Christmas last year, along with one game. He got the others through-out the year. He was perfectly happy with just the one game for awhile, along with the simple game you can download when you get the leapster. He has Finding Nemo, Diego, Backyardigans, and Cars. The Cars one is a little hard for him, I have to help him because it incorporates spelling. I know he'd like the Toy Story one, but I don't think he needs another one.
Gavin - 12.05.06 and Molly - 10.22.08 my read shelf:
We have 4 right now, and 2 Leapsters (since April). We have Thomas the Train, Cars, Nemo, and Dora. Nat loves Dora (but doesn't quite 'get it' yet), Ben loves Thomas, and also plays Cars some. Neither like Nemo.
We're getting Toy Story for Christmas (B) and Ki-Lan (N).
DS1 got a Leapster for the holidays last year and we got him one game to go along with it. He got two more a few months later for his birthday and that's all he had until Hanukkah this year, when he got two more. So five total, spread out over a year. And that's kept him plenty busy. We have one more on tap for his next b-day in March that I got on sale a few weeks ago.
DS got it for his 4th bday and has about 8 games now. He pretty much only likes 2-3 games. the Thomas game is really good and easy to play, so he plays it a lot. There's a good dora game too. Now they're really into pet Pals. that's about it.
Not many. He got it for christmas two years ago with just one game...then got one more game for his birthday, then another last christmas. I think my ILs got him two more games for this christmas (they got the leapster originally), but really, he was happy enough with even just one game. He'll play the same one for weeks and weeks and then switch to a different one.
