Question About Birthday Banner

I know my DD's 1st Birthday isn't for 6 months, but I'm already in party planning mode. Birthday parties are a big thing in my family. I have seen tons of really cute birthday banners on Etsy and I want to make one for DD. My question is: Does anyone know if you have to have a Cricut to make them? Or is there another way to make them without one? Tips? Suggestions?

Re: Question About Birthday Banner

  • I'm making mine right now. I don't have a cricut, so I bought scissors that cut in patterns. I think it looks really cute so far, maybe not as fancy as some of the Etsy ones, but will look good for the party :)

Post a pic when your finished. I'd love to see it.
  • I just finished making one for Lauren's party. I used my circle cutter from Creative Memories, I used 3 different coloured card stock (brown, pink and green) and cut different sized circles. I did use my cricut for the letter but you could easily use large letter stickers or free hand them. I used ribbon to attach each circle.

Thanks for the input. Do you have a pic?
