1st Trimester

anyone take Complete Natal DHA?

I've been using samples of prenatals from my OB's office for the past few months... but now its time for an RX. They wrote out a script for another vitamin but my insurance seemingly covers NO freakin' prenatals.

When I looked on the list of meds covered the only one I saw that I could tell was a prenatal was complete natal DHA. Anyone else take these?

  • you don't need a prescription for prenatal vitamins. I get mine at costco.

  • I was SO blown away that so few prenatals are covered by insurance!  I ended up getting whatever was covered and my OB said they all have the minimum requirements.  I just couldn't stomach $150/month for prenatals!

  • Hello :) I take one a day women's prenatal wit DHA and they are great! I take them at night that way I don't get that nauseous feeling after taking them. Good luck :)
