Confused about Spots

So I am stalking, as always, and there are negative numbers in the quantity column of the listing.  When you click on the item the BIN option is still there.  What am I missing?

It seems like Spots was having some kind of hiccup where it allowed that mama to oversell so she was emailing whoever bought it first and refunding the others. Normally that doesn't happen.
