Time is getting close

I just got a call from my mom. We're starting to make plans for them all to come down before DH leaves. With everything going on, they don't want me alone at all. Even my brother with ALS is coming. We're going to set up a "bedroom" for him downstairs and figure out if we can make our half bath downstairs into a makeshift shower.

As excited as I am for my family to get here, I'm still dreading DH leaving. My family wants to be here within the next couple weeks. That way we can start getting their affairs in order and getting the house ready for LO. I'm a bundle of emotions right now.

     Thank you. I think I'm actually ok right now. I had my breakdown earlier about DH leaving. I told him that it's not the same as having him here, but there really is nothing we can do about it. So we're trying to find some positives in it all.

    Sounds like you have a super-supportive family - so great to hear.  Sending you big hugs; I can't imagine the emotions you are having.
