Intercourse and appt ??

I talked to my OB today and told her I was PG again and asked her if I needed any testing since my m/c in August.  She told me "NO", we will do nothing different.  Which freaked me out a little bit more than I already am.  So I told her I had very little brown spotting and mild cramping for 2 days before BFP.  So now she wants me seen tomorrow and told me to get my Beta's (Thank you that's what I wanted in the 1st place).  But then she also told me no sex until 14 weeks (she hasn't seen me or examined me since my missed M/C).

What tests did you have when in the beginning?  And was anyone else put on sex restrictions?

I was put on pelvic restrictions at 8 weeks because of spotting. They found placenta previa around that time, so the restrictions have been for the entire pregnancy since. Before that, the Progesterone was making things so gross, we weren't even trying.

I would follow her advice, at least until the first appointment.

In terms of testing, once pregnant we did nothing more than betas. Before that...how much time do you have?

I'm glad to hear the OB agreed to seeing you, even if to ease your nerves. I had 2 Beta draws 48 hours apart. And then the NP agreed to a viability u/s which would have been around 6 weeks, but the tech was out so it was at 7 weeks. I wasn't put on any sex restrictions, but then I didn't have any spotting with this pregnancy or with the m/c.

I was on pelvic rest until I went off progesterone at 12 weeks. My doctor didn't do any other testing.
