Pregnant after a Loss

movement?

When I was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, the nurse told me that I should be feeling the little guy at least a couple of times an hour at this point.  I have been, until today.  Does that sound right to you all who are between 28-32 weeks?  I'm a little nervous today and wondering if me not feeling him right now is anything to worry about.
DD(9)DD(5.5)DS(3)DS(born 2/1/11) July 2006, lost a baby at 8 weeks, natural miscarriage , May 2009 lost Zoe Eliana at 17 weeks no reason known, possible under developed organs. Re: movement?

  • There are days that I don't feel the boys move as much. Have you tried drinking juice or cold water and laying on your side? I'm sure everything is fine hun, but if it would make you feel better call your Dr and let them know.((Hugs))

  • I won't tell you not to worry, because I would be as well, but I think it's pretty normal.

I would call, if you need to go in and get some peace of mind.

  • I had a day a week or so ago and he only moved like 3 or 4 times the whole day FREAKED ME THE F OUT!  I have a doppler so we were able to find his heartbeat and have some reassurance, he does have quiet days and then like yesterday didn't STOP moving.  If you have felt the baby move I would just keep track and if it he/she doesn't pick back up to normal def. go in.

  • LO could just be resting.  Try moving or drinking some OJ.  If you put something cold on your belly LO will probably squirm away.  I've had lots of days with less movement, and it always worries me.  But then the next day she moves like crazy to make up for it.
