Bummed out - Appt Update

I went in today to have my membranes stripped at 9:30. Boy that was an experience. So far nothing not even a twinge. Knowing my luck that's how it was going to go. We work so hard to keep the baby from coming early that now it doesn't want to come.

I have set to be induced Wednesday night and expected to deliever Thursday morning. I'm really excited to get to finally hold my LO. I'm a little bumed that if I don't deliver until Thursday I will have to miss going home for Christmas.

Is that horrible for me to be a little bumed about it? I have zero family where I live so it will just be DH, DS, and LO with me. I think what I will miss most is seeing my niece and Nephews opening thier gifts and seeing my 23 cousins all at once.  OK I guess it's time to have the pitty party to end.

I've read (somewhere) that sex after membrane stripping helps it be more successful.  Worth a shot.

I've heard this too. It's worth a shot!

Good luck and don't feel bummed. No one wants to spend Xmas in the hospital.
