I haven't been on forever because we have been entertaining family, but I just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. My MIL and FIL have been here almost a week now, and DH has to work the next 5 days so I am stuck trying to entertain them by myself. I love them to death because they are so generous and helpful, but sometimes they can be a bit overbearing. They keep wanting to go to the store and Costco to buy food, and they keep making all this stuff that doesn't get eaten because we end up going to some restaurant they want to try. So my house is full of food that no one is eating, and they just asked to go to Costco again. I wanted to get some cleaning done today, and they won't let me vacuum because they are convinced it's not safe.  So I am sitting here on the computer while MIL and FIL clean my house and do my laundry Nice, but awkward. I am really bad at letting others help me. They are treating me like I am sick and it's annoying me. FIL is wiping down all of our doors with Clorox, and I really want to shower but he is in our room. MIL is trying to convince me that is better for us to have the baby at the end of June (I am due July 9th) because she swears that in Ecuador (where they are from) that the doctors say delivering in the 8th month is safer than the 9th month or something crazy like that. Really her bday is June 25th and she wants the baby to be born on her bday. Then she said that for premies the 8th month is more dangerous than the 7th month. Who knows what she is talking about. She is always saying crazy things. Anyways....this is how my week is going....I don't know what I am going to do for the next 4 and a half days....

I miss you! I am sorry IL's are driving you a little nutty.   I don't even let DH do my laundry.  At least you have some help for a little while.

Oh my, that's a lotta lotta inlaws!  Glad they are being so helpful, but ugh on the other stuff - sounds like you are a very patient person!  Enjoy the holidays!

My MIL is here for 2 weeks. I feel your pain!!!!!!!!!!! My H feels like he needs to make up for lost time when she is around because we live so far away, so in addition to her mouth with no filter, I also lose my husband for a couple weeks. Annoying.
