I would still use it. It's a completely different name, so I don't see why there would be a problem.

How does your sister/brother feel about you using it? If they don't mind then I don't think it's a problem. I personally woudn't use it just because it rhymes but thats just me GL!

This is what I think too, but DH thinks it's weird that the names rhyme.

If your DH thinks it's weird then I would take hollyberry's suggestion and ask them what they think about you guys using a rhyming name.

I have cousin that has a son named Cole and my DS is Kolby.  It is not an issue and we are pretty close.

My cousins are named Sara and Carianne and my name is Cara. We all thought it was pretty cool that we had similar names growing up:)

My friend named her daughter Rohan (pronounced the same)... I love it! Super cute with a girly middle name like Alice.  I wouldn't worry about the similarity to Bowen... funny coincidence, but I don't think it matters for cousins.
