Pregnant after a Loss

Well that would have been good to know

I was talking to my OB today about how at nearly 28 weeks I don't feel like I feel the baby often or hard enough.  It's just not like what I was expecting.  That's when I find out that I have an anterior placenta and they've known that since my 20th week appointment.  Not to complain, but that could have saved me quite a bit of anxiety over the last 8 weeks!  Grr!

  • Yeah they should have told you, totally. Mine is not anterior but I had to ask at my latest u/s as well.

  • I have an AP too, and they've pointed it out to me at each u/s.  I'm surprised they didn't tell you.  Though, I still feel plenty of movement I just don't feel the small movements just big ones.
