Was your IUI painful?

I'm being a gigantic baby. My HSG experience was awful, my annual paps are easy-peasy. Where does the pain associated with an IUI fall?

For me, the IUI (and ET) is like a pap. I would not call my HSG fun or pain-free, but mine wasn't unbearable.

My IUIs were not painful at all. Very similar to a PAP. Nothing like the HSG at all.

I had alot of cramping with my HSG. I had pain with my IUI, but not nearly as bad as the HSG.

My experience was similar to the other posts -- definite discomfort and cramping with the HCG. Slight discomfort with IUIs (all 7 of them!) but the discomfort was way more like a pap than an HCG.

Nothing like the HSG. My IUI was similar to a pap. I barely had even mild cramping.

My IUIs weren't even close to my HSG. It was a lot like a pap.

My HSG was no big deal at all (I feel for you ladies who had painful ones!) and my IUIs were even easier. Out of everything, my ET was the most uncomfortable and that was only because I was certain my bladder was going to explode.

My 1st HSG was very painful. 2nd HSG was only a little painful. My IUI I had a little cramping but nothing to complain about. GL!

I've had 3 IUIs - none painful at all. This may be TMI...but I always have a ton of EWCM around ovulation, so I don't really even feel a thing! Good luck

I had 6 IUIs-no pain with any of them. They were a piece of cake. I did have cramping afterward, when I was home but nothing I couldn't handle. I did have a lot of pain/pressure with my HSG-I almost threw up! So you should be just fine at your IUI-good luck!

The HSG was probably the most painful thing I've ever experienced in my life. IUI's on the other hand have been very easy for me.

For me the HSG was not that bad, but my IUI's were extremely uncomfortable. However, MH swears that when our Dr. was preforming the IUI's his facial expression was saying "oh come on, I do this all the time and nobody reacts like this". I have a very low pain tolerance.
