Ah, pregnancy. Have you been sleeping on your side, by chance? I stopped being able to sleep any other way when the m/s hit and my hips have been pretty sore ever since.
Other than stretching, I haven't found much to relieve them.
Im too paranoid to take tylenol.
I know I know. I didn't try a bath but I did try a heating pad and it did give some relief for a while but not long. I don't sleep with a pillow inbetween my legs, but i should start.
Thanks!!!! I did try a heating pad.. it seemed to have subsided the pain for a bit.. but not long.
Yes I always sleep on my right side.!! Since Friday though i've had to sleep on my stomach and if I try to sleep on my right side it feels okay for a bit, but then that side starts to hurt.
I find I get that kind of achey-ness when I stand or walk too much, stairs are particularly bad for it.
The best way to stop it is to rest with your feet up for a while.

I've had a lot of achiness in my hips throughout this pregnancy. My OB told me it was just everything growing and stretching.
I haven't tried a heating pad, but it does seems to help if I sleep with a pillow between my legs.
Yep, at least it was for me. I had tons of hip pain, mostly at night in bed, around that point. I don't notice it as much anymore. I think it's mostly just that round ligament pain and/or your hips spreading to accommodate everything.
Putting a pillow between my legs helped at night. Usually they say you can take tylenol, so that might provide some relief if you're experiencing yours more during the day. Hopefully you will "grow" out of it.
