anyone have a Backyard Adventures swingset?

I am looking at the Magellan...damn they are expensive!  I cannot remember if they told me it has the 5000 lbs weight limit or 250 lbs.  Are you happy with yours?  Which series do you have?

Hi,

We have the Mountaineer set from the Explorer series, and it's fantastic.  It's extremely solid and sturdy, even when all nine of the neighboorhood kids are climbing on it.  It's design is a little bit simple compared to the sets from Sams, Costco, etc. but our kids have never seemed to mind.  In fact, there is a Sams set and a Costco set on our street, and all of the kids always choose to play on ours instead.  I can't say enough about the quality...you really can tell the difference.  The other sets really creak and sway when a couple of kids play at the same time, and ours is solid as a rock.

They are definitely pricey (we got lucky and my parents paid for ours), but I would definitely recommend Backyard Adventures.

--Oh, one more thing...I wasn't going to get monkey bars, just the beam, because monkey bars seemed dangerous to me (my kids are 2 and 4).  The man at the store talked me into monkey bars because the kids will grow into them and really want them when they're a little older.  He was completely right.  The older kids in the neighborhood love them and even my kids like to have us help them swing across.  So far we haven't had any incidents with injuries or safety concerns, so I'm glad I went ahead and got the monkey bars.
