Could use T&P (L&D visit yesterday)

I woke up yesterday to some brown bleeding. I of course freaked out and had a total meltdown. So off to L&D we went. Good news is, I have  cervical polyp that could have caused the bleeding and my cervix is still long. Bad news is they said my cervix was very soft and fingertip dilated, and the bleeding could have been a result of my cervix softening. They said it possible that its been that way from the start, since no one has yet manually checked my cervix. They let me go home, but I got to see my MFM today to figure it all out. I am hoping he is not worried since my cervix remains long, but I am terrified.

    (((HUGS)))) Cervical issues are so freaking scary!  FEET UP and lots of water until your appt.  Gravity is now your enemy, unfortunately :(

    ((Hugs)) lots of T+Ps coming your way. Ask your Dr about adding vag progestrone. My cervix softened around 23w, and the MFM added vag prometrium to my mix of meds. I was skeptical, but it held up until 28w. I'm still on it now, and is probably the reason I haven't thinned out. (I did funnel some, and shortened.) Just a thought sweetie. I know all of this is so scary. Get off your feet and rest! I've got my fingers crossed that the Dr. has a plan put in place for you.((Hugs))
