Dale and Dean- too similiar?

Are the two names Dale and Dean too similar to each other for two people in a nuclear family to have? DH name is Dale and Dean seems to be rising to the top but the similarity between the two names makes me a little leery.

Thoughts?

No I don't think they are too similar.

And I like Dean

They are similar, as long as its not for siblings I think it would still be ok.

I really like Dean and I think as long as they're not siblings, Dale and Dean are okay together.

And there is no way that there will be a sibling named Dale in the future...I put a stop to any thoughts of a Dale Jr. before they even came out of my DHs mouth, lol.

I don't think they're too similar at all.  (But this comes from someone with a DH named Vince and a son named Vaughn).  Dale and Dean are both awesome names.
