what age did baby use sophie the giraffe

i hear good things about sophie.  i don't wanna jump the gun though.  there's so many adorable things to buy.  at what age did baby use her?  my daughter chews on her hands now, but i don't know if she'll be able to grab the giraffe completely yet.  oh yeah and if my baby is chewing on her hands, does that mean she's starting the teething process?

I got LO Sofie when he was about 4 months old, he really started to enjoy it at about 5 months and now it is his favorite toy.

DS has had his Sophie since day 1. I can't say enough good things about it! We don't leave the house without her in hand. He's almost 6 months now and passes her easily from hand to hand and loves chomping on her all the time. The squeaking sound she makes on his gums kinda creeps me out but she is the BEST investment I think I have made in a baby toy. We love Sophie!

We got Sophie as a baby shower gift but didn't start using her until DS was 3 months old. He liked chewing on her but couldn't hold her very well until 4 months. He's 6 months now and loves chewing on her!

My dd is 5 months today and she hasn't started getting into it yet.  She's grabbed at it a few times but nothing yet- but nothing on any toy except the round ball with holes that is easy to grasp.

We got one on Friday.  He is not that into yet, but I'm sure in a month or 2 he will love it.  And it was only $16 on amazon so I couldn't pass it up.

3 1/2 months... She chews on Sophie like crazy!!

I bought Sophie when she was about 3.5 months old...she didn't really show much interest. It was around 5 months that I re-introduced her to DD and she has loved Sophie ever since!
