i know i don't want it pronounced ellen. and i don't want people to think tiger woods!
Then I would go with Delaney.... I think people who know tiger woods wife was elin would pronounce it right but associate it with Tiger woods. Other people would probably pronounce it Ellen.
With the spelling options I like Delaney. As for which name I prefer, I would choose Elin. I think Elin Claire is cute. For some reason saying Grady and then Delaney doesn't seem right in my head. I like Landon, Grady and Elin. Each special and unique and not close to the other names in the slightest. Oh, and yes, I thought Tiger Woods at first, too, but that WILL die down. It's a beautiful name!
I love Delaney - my friend has a darling LO with that name
I'm out of the Tiger Woods loop, so my thoughts on Elin - all I hear is "Ellen". I don't know how else it would be said. Hope my ignorance is helpful! ...or is it pronounced EEE-lyn?
Re: name help
I love Delaney! I knew the most adorable little Delaney!
As soon as I read Elin I thought Tiger Woods. She is a beautiful, classy woman but not sure that's what you want associated with your daughter?
I just saw you have a Grady. That's the name we've picked for our little boy. LOVE it!
I did think Tiger Woods right away. That will die down with time, though!

I love Elin. The Tiger Woods thing will go away in time.

I like Elin, but if you're worried about people accidentally pronouncing it Ellen, you could try Elynn....wait, that looks odd....

I vote Elin.
ETA: I think it is a beautiful name and would "grow up" better than Delaney would.
