Pregnant after a Loss

Struggling to drink enough water

I am trying to be mindful of drinking water throughout the day but the past week I haven't been doing a good job. I hope this doesn't cause any issues for baby! I am sitting here now with a HUGE cup from Kings Dominion full of water and going to make sure I drink it all in the next hour or so. For some reason I just haven't been liking water lately and haven't been that thirsty in general.

Re: Struggling to drink enough water

  • Thanks for the reminder!  DH just brought me a fresh cold glass!   I used to do really good when I had my big 32 oz bottle at my desk at work, since I got laid off and I am at home most of the time I've not been as good.  It is hard plus all the extra peeing is annoying, luckily at my u/s last week she said the fluid looked good.

    Happy drinking!

  • I'm a huge water drinker (it's about my only healthy vice) but very occasionally I'll get sick of plain water, and squeeze some lemon, orange, or lime.  Or if I'm feeling really special, I'll make a pitcher of ice water with LOTS of fruits, smashed strawberries and kiwi, etc.  Frozen fruit is great for that.  It makes it taste a whole lot better, with no sugar.  Also, decaf iced tea makes me drink a TON at one time.  Peppermint tea is also good iced.  I looooove ice and always have to refill my cup 20 times because it's all ice.  That makes me feel like I'm drinking more, too.

    GL!

I'm horrible about drinking water. I'm gonna have to try the fruit thing! Also, I'm a big tea drinker, but I've never had the decaf. Does it taste much different?
