if DS won't eat...

He won't eat much becuase of the canker sores, and I'm pretty sure he's fussy/not sleeping well because he's hungry- hell, he's losing weight, I can tell by how tight I pull his diaper! Is there anything I can give him to eat that is easy and good...?

Vanilla Boost/Ensure drinks? Don't they have a pedi version?

Could you make him a smoothie with full-fat yogurt and fruit? Poor guy!

You could try pediasure its in the aisle with babyfood and formula at the grocery store.  They have a couple different flavors.  Hope he feels better soon.

I second the smoothies. I make them for my younger son and he loves them. I just mix vanilla yogurt with either fresh or frozen fruit.  I think they do have a pedi version of those ensure drinks, I would check out the grocery store. 
I also make popsicles for my kids with pureed fruit and yogurt, half of each.  My kids both love those and think they are getting a treat, and since its only yogurt and fruit its healthy!  That might feel good for him too b/c its cold.

Good idea on the smoothies! I'll try those- he loves yogurt and that's about all his eating right now.
