Pregnant after a Loss

anyone have a tilted uterus?

The tech told me when she did my ultrasound that my uterus was tilted (I believe tilted back).  I have had a lot of crampiness and backache this week even after the shot of progesterone they gave me.  Do you think I may just be feeling everything in my back because of that?

Re: anyone have a tilted uterus?

  • I found out that I have a tilted uterus at my ultrasound, too. I didn't have a lot of backaches, but I did notice sudden and brief cramping that I related to "growing pains" as the uterus was moving up. Sorry this probably doesn't help much.

  • My uterus is completely tilted forward, so my cramping has been to the front.

  • I have a tilted uterus, back like yours.  I had a lot of crampiness early on too; now for some reason the whole uterus is shifted to the right side. I can feel kicks almost to the back of my side on the right, and on the left side I barely feel them near my hip area (if that  makes since).  Someone even told me today they could tell he was shifted to my right side.  My Dr. said as my uterus grows it corrects itself, but then I also have partial placenta previa which is keeping him from moving into head down.  Ok that was probably a lot more info that you asked for.

  • I have a tilted ute as well and have had some back pain, but I never knew whether to attribute it to the tilted uterus or just pregnancy in general as I understand some lower back pain is normal.  That's probably not very helpful...

  • Mine is tilted back as well, but I haven't been getting much back pain really.
  • Mine tilts towards the back (a good amount).

I haven't noticed any backaches, but I do get RLPs...
