Drinking event at work

So we're doing some teambuilding thing today and they just announced we'll have beer, on the company. Great. Unfortunately I'm a bit of a lush so I can guarantee that somebody will ask me if I'm pregnant.

tell them you're on antibiotics for a wicked urinary tract infection. They'll lay off the subject right quick haha

1. cold medicine, and you can't mix.

2. beer makes you really tired and you have a LONG night ahead.

3. hold the bottle, but never take a sip.

4. announce at the team building thing....wooo...that's risky.

Well, if they are in cans you can just carry one around- no one would monitor you that closely to see if you are actually taking sips, right?

i may go the feeling sick/cold medicine route. i thought about carrying one around - i actually just tried to see if they have cans or bottles but i guess they haven't gotten it yet or it's hidden. just my luck, the one day i can drink at work and - i cant drink at work!

Tell them you're pain meds cuz you pulled something in your back...cant mix the two.
