Stocking stuffers for 12 month old?

DS is 12 1/2 months old. I'm having some trouble coming up with stocking stuffer ideas. So far we got a Fisher Price Sesame St remote control and a bunch of new socks (I know, sooo exciting). But there aren't a lot of small things you can really give a 1 year old. Any good ideas? It needs to fit into a stocking.

I think I'm going to put some toddler silverware in DS's stocking.  He's wants to take over when I feed him, so I think I'll try to teach him how to use them by himself.  Not very exciting, sorry.

I also think at this age anything goes! small books, sippy cups, animal crackers, small toys, socks, hats, gloves...

crayons, board books, stickers, balls, bubbles, toothbrush, puffs or his favorite snack... sometimes I just go through the dollar bins at Target and find lots of little things that are great to throw in stockings or the diaper bag to keep him entertained while we're out

DD is 14 months but we did some snacks (bag of yogurt melts and a few mum mums), a couple books, toy car, elmo phone, christmas ornament, toothbrush, and a bib.

I'm doing the same as PP.  I got some cute Pablo ones from the Backyardigans.  I also got a toothbrush from onestepahead.com since he loves to walk around and chew on a toothbrush.  I got a candy cane filled with M&M's as a treat, he'll eat maybe 5, and daddy will eat the rest!  I also got the DVD "Colors" from preschool prep.  I tried them out from the library and both kids love them!  Oh and a sippy cup and triangle shaped crayons. HTH

DS is getting hot wheels cars, bubbles, bubble bath, and letter/number fridge magnets in his stocking this year.

I usually do things that the child needs in their stocking - sippy cups, forks and spoons, new tooth brush, some cookies that they like and a small toy or two (such as thomas train or small play cell phone)

In DD's stocking: jumbo crayons, a mini magna-doodle, alphabet magnets, a little Christmas board book, and some red leggings (from Target $ spot).

Our youngest is getting a Christmas book, a sippy cup, binkies, tights and two types of snacks (fruit melts and a blueberry cereal type snack).  We're not stressing about overfilling it and tried to make it pretty practical.

I'd just get things LO needs:

- rolled up onesie

- sippy cup

- hat

- teething biscuits/small packs of crackers

My DS has one too and loves it!  His was a gift, but we've seen them at Toys R Us.

We put in a bunch of little board books, a small tambourine toy, and goldfish crackers.

Board book, small wooden cars and trains, earth's best cereal bars, socks, alphabet magnets, and a sing-a-ma-jig looking out of the top. (ahhh!)
