Terbutaline dosage?

For those of you who were on/are on terb, what dosage are you taking?  I was put on 2.5mg every 4 hours and am still experiencing some bouts with contractions.  If they get more regular I'm going to call the Dr. but am hoping maybe he can just up the amount so I don't wind up in L&D for the 4th time this week.

Is that pill form?  I'm only asking because I'm on the pump and that dosage sounds funny.

I think mine was 2.5 also. Definitely call if you have contractions, esp if they're regular even if they're far apart. GL!

Thankfully the ones I've had today weren't regular.  I had some regular ones in the middle of the night last night right before I was due for my next pill and they tapered off right as I was about to call the Dr, so I got in bed and was able to fall asleep. 

We spent 3 nights in L&D this week and I am just overly exhausted which I don't think is helping anything

Ugh I so know what you're going through. I'm glad the contrax have tapered off a bit. Hopefully the higher dose will do the trick.

Its so bizarre too because the worst ones ALWAYS come at the exact same time, which happens to be at 1am.  All 3 times we went to L&D it was the middle of the night.

How long did you take it for and when were your babies born?

That just figures, doesn't it? 1am? If I remember right I took it regularly until week 32. I was supposed to take it as needed after that but I rarely did b/c I hated the side effects. Ithink I was told to stop the drugs (I was also on P17) at week 34. I gave birth at 35w1d by inducing b/c I was dilated 4-5cm
