fisher price cradle n swing

If anyone has this swing do you think that it goes super fast??? I put it on low when Brody first came home and I thought he was going to fall out, he's now up to 7 pounds 8 oz so I thought that might make a difference but its still super fast and almost makes him go sideways. Just wondering if that's how it is, i'm over sensitive to it or if there is some malfunction or something!!

We have the Little Lamb one and it does seem to go fast, but it seems to slow down as they get heavier.  Now that my DDs are about 10lbs each it doesn't seem to go as fast.  My one DD loves it though!
