I found a CD newborn rental package that includes 24 OsoCozy AIOs, and I'm wondering if anyone has used these dipes for a newborn. Are they absorbant? Do they actually fit a newborn? Are they super bulky? Can you add a doubler?
I was going to go with fitteds and covers during the NB phase, but DH really loves our current pockets we've used with our toddler for 14+ months, and I think fitteds/cover would frustrate him. I also don't really want to buy anything and deal with prepping/washing at first and then washing/sunning/de-staining to sell. Last time I sold some dipes, it was a pain in the rear to do that.
Any input is appreciated. I also posted awhile ago wondering if anyone would recommend Little Lions fitteds or Snugglebottoms fitteds, so any input on those (if you didn't post last time) would be great. I'm getting overwhelmed trying to decide on our NB stash. Thanks!
Re: OsoCozy AIO for newborns?
I have a small set of the older osocozy AIO's. Like these ... https://familyofthecloth.blogspot.com/2009/06/review-all-together-diaper-companys-all.html ... That's not my link though. I just googled for it.
I like the diapers, but they aren't my favorite. They weren't bulky on my NB, but they were really hard to snap. I don't think the new ones have those little pin snaps anymore. I did have to prep and sun them as the inside was white cotton I believe. I didn't have the leg gap that the link above shows. They were good absorbancy, and we could just lay the doubler in the diaper.
All in all they worked fairly well, but I really like fitteds with covers better. I don't know if this helps much since my set is older than what you're looking at.
