TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

If you had an HSG and saline sono...

How was the saline sono compared to the HSG? The HSG was really painful for me. I bled the night of it and am still spotting 3 days later. Should I expect something similar with the saline sono?

Re: If you had an HSG and saline sono...

  • The saline sono was much easier for me, it was like 1/4 of the time of the HSG and I didn't even know they were doing it until it was over.

This. DH came with me to the sono not the HSG, he should have gone to the HSG... The sono was a piece of cake compared to the HSG.

  • Don't want to scare you but while the h s g was painful I found the saline to be more painful They used 3 syringes instead of usual 1 I found it extremely uncomfortable but worth it in the end. Good luck. I will be thinking of you
