Our name choices

We are team green, but have decided on our name choices.  DH is Greek, so we are following the naming traditions of using DH's father's name for the boy's name and using his grandmother's name for the girl's middle name (we already used his mother's name for DD's middle name).  So, with that said, baby #2 will either be:

Sam Alexander

or

Zoe Christina

 Even though we're set on these names, I'm still curious to hear thoughts/opinions...

I understand that argument of Sam v. Samuel, but Samuel isn't an option because it's not DH's father's name.

Totally agree. Sam is too informal IMO. Love Samuel though-it's one of my favorites!

I like them both.  I agree with PP, I like the NN Sam, but prefer Samuel as the formal first name.

I like your girl name, but I really dislike your boy name. I just can't stand Sam. I do like that it's a family name though.

I like both choices. I usually don't go for Zoe but paired with Christina, I really like it. I would probably end up calling her by both names. I think it sounds so pretty.
