Stroller RAVE - Baby Jogger City Micro

It is freaking cute and so small and light! Just got it for our upcoming trip. If you take the wheels off it goes into a tiny carry-on (or check at the gate) bag. Got the red one for $89 at Albeebaby.com ! They also have turquoise and lime green for $99. Can't beat the price!

ooh, what a great deal!  i might get that.  how is it different from the city mini?  from looking at the features, it looks like the main differences are the seat (mini is padded, can recline to almost flat), the front wheel (6" v 8"), the sun canopy (mini's is larger), ...anything else? 

are these material differences?  how would i choose between the micro or the mini?

OMG, Alexa's pic in your siggy is SO cute! About the jogger stroller...how tall is the handle bar? We're both tall and that's an issue when we consider buying a stroller...also how far apart are the wheels in the back? Joseph is FOREVER kicking the ones on our Snap 'n' Go...again, we need something that can accomodate his long stride and big feet! LOL!

Shoulder straps on Mini are padded and on the Micro they are just plain straps. This does not bother me, but you might want padded with a younger one? 

The recline option, again, doesn't matter much for an older child, it's mostly at issue for when they are babies. When you first start using the stroller, you want to recline it all the way. We didn't really use that feature much on our other stroller tho because we used the Snap n Go when she was young.

Front wheel, not sure why this would matter

Canopy, yes the Mini has better sun coverage. You can get an extra canopy (Protect a Bub) to supplement the Micro if you need.... I think that the small sun canopy is one of the criticisms of the Micro.

You can get a bar that snaps onto the Mini and Micro that lets you use your infant car seat with them.

I just like how small it is! I think either the Mini or Micro would be a great choice. HTH!

Hmm... He might kick the back bar. I did that the first time I used it, but now it doesn't bother me and I don't anymore.

I got them done at the Picture People in my local mall...they sent me a postcard to get 6 sheets for $9 total (same pose for all sheets, one sheet can be 10x13 or 8x10, two 5x7s, 5 4x6s or 8 wallets).  Jaime posted a link to the same deal here:

Hey Malia, thanks for posting this!  I went to Albee baby and was going to order this stroller but hesitated... We have the City Mini already but wanted something to travel with (we're off to HI in April with LO, he'll be 7.5 months old).  Is it light enough to travel with, sounds like it, yeah?  We were also considering a MacLaren as well.  I'm glad you love the stroller though, I'm a big fan of Baby Jogger.
