Update: Nervous for surprise date night

Well DH did well with planning dinner to our favorite restaurant and tickets to the local Theatre Ensemble to see A Christmas Story (which was very good).

Sounds picture-perfect but for the first time in quite a while we really weren't getting along so unfortunately that down-graded the date to just so-so.

Here's to hoping we're back on track for the weekend since there's going to be a lot of family togetherness.

And on another positive note, the boys did great with my parents.  They were so happy to see them and play.  Eli was ready to push me out the door, and Evan basically ran as fast as he could as soon as he heard my mom's voice...makes it easier for me on date night! :-)
