It's a boy!

We had our 18 week ultrasound today. I was so nervous hoping everything would be ok, but the ultrasound looks good! Baby is a boy, looks healthy, fluid levels good, placenta good, cervix good, cord good. I never thought I would get this far, I'm so grateful! I'm praying for another good 22 weeks ahead :)

Some people seemed disappointed that it's a boy which BLOWS MY MIND! Especially for people who know I had a miscarriage in July - who cares if its a boy or a girl! Be excited that it's looking healthy, I dont care about gender/sex! I guess some people dont get whats really important.

I wont let them ruin my day - I'm psyched!

    Yay, congrats on a healthy boy!! I had the exact same thing happen with my brother in law, he wanted it to be a boy SO BAD and was visibly disappointed at the fact that the baby is a girl. It took everything to not punch him in the face!

    Thats wonderful news. Congrats on your little boy.

    Ignore them, people can be so stupid. I got questions too, ie are you and DH happy its another girl... f* ya, we're thrilled its a HEALTHY girl and we would have be thrilled if it was a HEALTHY boy.

    Congratulations!  Baby boys are a lot of fun.  I mean it meant that I did not get to shop the lavender collection at Gymboree or shop cute baby girl dresses.  But there are so many dang cute baby boy clothes--Carter's, Gymboree (it is an even shopping area for both genders), Baby Gap (again cute, cute, cute).  Oh and then there is the Star Wars collection at Pottery Barn Kids--it is so cute to see the toddler boys in that area.  That baby boy will just melt your heart and other people's hearts as well.
