I'm sitting b!tch (middle seat with my elbows crammed into my sides) on a 5hour 20min flight with free internet and 96% battery life, and I can bump to my heart's content, or until the battery dies, whichever happens first.

I was just going to ask the same thing as Di... I tried to get on using WiFi from my Ipad on a flight recently but they wanted to charge me $10 for a 2 hour flight.

Headed to San Francisco to visit the ILs for Christmas. I love my ILs, they are great people, but a large part of the time will be spent on the couch making small talk....I may be on the bump a lot this next week

Ugh. Total bummer. I'm flying Airtran, and they have free wifi until January. Score!!! (I'm totally too cheap to pay for it)

We are heading to my IL's on Tuesday. More to see my step kids though. I lucked out in the IL dept. They are pretty awesome. I love SF my daddy is from there. My Aunts and Uncles all still live in the bay area.

Do you make it out to the bay area often? DH's family lives about 90 minutes north of the city off the 101, so after this flight lands, we get to hop on a shuttle for another 2 hours. It's going to be a long-azz night.....*yawn*

We are staying until the 26th. Not long enough No I don't make it out there much anymore. When I lived in Oregon it was like an 8 hour drive.

How did you like living in Oregon? The slightly cooler weather, green living, and lots of trees appeals to me (the not having to pump my gas is a perk too.)

I like GA, but the heat of summer and the mosquitoes are killing me. I took the "no bugs" for granted living in CA. Does Oregon get many mosquitoes? I already told DH that the next place we move must have a low mosquito population

My MIL just arrived here in CA for the next 2 weeks. She comes here for 2 weeks at a time, 3x a year. She was just here for 2 weeks in October. I miss my family and wish we could have gone back to the East coast for Christmas this year.

Gaaagh I know!  It's killer!   Right now I'm watching Bones.  But earlier I watched the 2 hr season finale of Burn Notice.  I'm glad we caught up tonight!

I am not a republican, I don't go to church, I don't like football (unless its the ducks even then I only get excited when they are winning). It never rains and there are tornadoes here. When I tell people I am vegetarian they look at me like I said I am an axe murder. My DH is African and Hispanic, people here look at us like we are from the circus.

I'm surprised that they haven't excommunicated you from the state, being a vegetarian

In GA, the veg world is fine, but Sarah Palin is revered as a God here, which just makes me scared. Atlanta proper is liberal-ish (we are the SF of the south) but as soon as you get 20 minutes outside of the city (where I am) it's red central. It was a bit of a culture shock to DH and I, coming from Northern CA (the mecca of blue). At least we still have South Park and Jon Stewart to make us feel normal

Been there.....last month I made that flight from Chicago to SF riding b!tch next to a 300 lb guy and behind a guy with a flatulence problem. I was 8 weeks along and super nauseous the whole time. NOT FUN. Work asked me to fly to Seattle a couple of weeks later and I told them no way, so tired of traveling. 

Glad you got free wifi, that will keep you entertained for a lil while.
