A co-worker of mine gave me two boxes of clothes for 3-6 months. I haven't gone through them yet, but I'm so excited.

    That's so cool! I love getting hand me downs! The lady who gave me all my maternity clothes also went through and found all her daughter's neutrals and some girlie clothes just in case. Then she made me a couple blankets. It's like an early Christmas. lol

    That is sweet. I am hoping to inherit clothes from nieces, so I can get out of figuring out how that all works. I'm much better at the random party dress purchase.

    Onesies and sleepsacks scare me a little.

    One of the moms from DD' s girl scouts gave me 2 huge bags of clothes. NB-18 month. Most of it was really cute and in great shape. I am stoked.

    We haven't really been given any hand-me-downs, but we do have two girls (and I *think* this one will be a girl as well), so we have been able to do recycling of clothes just within our family.  It's SO great!! I feel the same way as a pp, it's like Christmas.  Every time I go through the stuff that dd #1 has grown out of and find that it now is the perfect size for dd #2, it's so much fun!  We have so much that I've either forgotten about or was never even worn in the first place.

    Hand me downs are the best!  We got two big bags full of baby girl clothes.  We washed them all, and sorted them out- ones that were stained or not my style went to good will, but for the most part all of them were in really good shape.

    Awesome!! If  I have girls I have a friend who will give me TONS of sh!t!  Even if I have boys, she'll give me high chairs and what not!!
