I need some advice please

Today, I found my son and nephew in the toy room with their pants down. Playing with eachother. I don't know how to handle this or what to say. My son is 4 and nephew is 6.

I understand that kids are curious, but I don't want either of them thinking this ok to do with other kids or together.

Any advice is helpful. TIA!

I think the only thing you can do is really...let them know that they're curious, and that that is ok, but other people's bodies are private, as are their own, and that if they have any questions that they should come to you, and explain the no touching where the swimsuits cover up...and you know...stranger danger...

and talk to the nephew's ma about it- I doubt it is anything to be worried about (esp not yet.)

unless you find that the older boy is co-ercing the younger one into weiner games...

now that I think about it...maybe 6 is a little old for that? or no?

I would make it clear to your son that his ween is his own, and nobody should be looking at it, touching it, or inquiring about it unless they are in charge of his bathing or healthcare.

then maybe casually ask what was up with his cousin...and how it all came about (without making him embarassed or guilty or anything...)

Hmmm, I think six is pretty old for that type of thing.  I would not be comfortable with that at all.  I would talk to my son and his mom and supervise all of their playing.  I have several people close to me that were abused by a relative close in age so maybe I feel stronger due to this.
