Sandusky Bay area...

Does anyone know anything about the Sandusky Bay area?  Is it nice?  Cost of living?  How are the schools?  Personal experiences with the town?  TIA!

It's a very beautiful town in the summer but also very touristy from May-August.  I'm not sure about the school rating but it's overall a safe and family friendly community.  I personally would like to live there.
