I made those cookies. I had DH stop to get the kisses last night and he bought two bags. I had to hurry and make the cookies before we ate all the kisses. We've never had them before. Candy cane kisses are amazing! Thanks for the recipe.

I know!  I'm addicted to them.  I stock up on them over Christmas so we can have them well into spring.  This year, there are Andes mints that are peppermint and taste almost exactly the same.  I also saw they had them in the baking aisle all chopped up, and thought they would be great in those chocolate cookies if you didn't want to do the kiss on top.

I need to stop! I think I have gained 15lbs in the last two days just READING recipes. Quitting smoking and baking do not go well together.

hahahaha!  I love baking, but I don't usually eat what I bake.  However, last night I was making those pretzel/rolo things, and I thought to myself...I really need to avoid any recipe that involves unwrapping candy because I think I eat every other one that I unwrap.  Not good.
