We are having another family over for dinner tomorrow night. I am going to do PW's mac and cheese, as well as roasted carrots and asparagus. What meat should I serve with it? I suggested meatloaf, but MH reminded me that was we had last time they hosted.

Re: What to serve with mac and cheese?
Mrs. JDD - thanks. I think I found it on the Foodnetwork site.
...that's an idea! Do you have a good recipe? I usually just throw a pork loin in the crockpot and add some BBQ sauce. This is my absolute favorite pulled pork recipe, people rave about it!

Half of the time, I just used bottled bbq sauce to save a little bit of time and it is still delish! It really doesn't even need sauce.
This is exactly what I do. Although, I always dump a can of coke in with the roast just because I once read to do that, and I figure why not. LOL! I always use the famous daves sauce.
It definitely is for me, but for the men in our friends/family, they need meat.
Ditto!
it is for me. I never serve meat dishes and cheese dishes together. mac n cheese served with salad and roasted veggies = a meal for my family.
