does anyone have the mazda 5?

wondering how it works out with your twins.

I like that it is a little smaller than a typical minivan, but I am concerned that the sliding door isn't automatic.

The girls are only 6 weeks old, but already my prius is NOT cutting it.

Re: does anyone have the mazda 5?

  • we have one and love it for the most part.   Only we bought it expecting 2 kids max, and we have a toddler and twins.   It's a bit tight with 3, but we make it work.    With just the twins it would be the perfect car for us.

  • We looked at it and decided that the automatic sliding doors are a must have.  We use our every day and it'll prob be even more handy when the boys are bigger

When carrying two kids and all their stuff it is the best thing in the world to push two buttons and have both doors open.

  • My friend has one she only has one kid and she has told me many times that when they have the next kid they are going to have to upgrade to a bigger van, since it is a little on the small side. Just the other day we were going to go somewhere and she wanted to drive, but my double stroller won't fit in. If you are going to get a van I would get one of the bigger ones. I don't think used ones are that different in price.
