1. When did the side effects get better? My doctor warned me, but the racing heart, nausea, shaking hands and dehydration are seriously making me nonfunctional.
2. Did it make your baby go berserk? AM is kicking/moving/stretching so much, I am constantly having the wind knocked out of me, or feeling like my uterus is about to pop. And it's constant. She doesn't seem to sleep at all now. Not that I'm surprised, with the way my own heart is going nuts.
Re: If you were on terbutaline
1. It does get better, but the effects don't completely go away. Make sure you don't have any caffeine with it because it makes the side effects worse.
2. I didn't notice that it had any real effect on DS, but I was also on mag so that might have made a difference.
1. It got somewhat better, but never went away. The racing heart and shaking were the worst.
2. Yes.
After two weeks it was better, but really I never felt normal. I don't remember if they baby was crazy, I was on it with my first so I didn't have anything to compare it to. It kept him in though!!
With number 2 I was on procardia, way less side effects, but didn't do as good of a job with the contractions.
I don't know if I could be on treb with the boys at home by myself. I was worried when it was just me.
Good luck!! You will make it to term and it will be all worth it!! Are you doing P17 shots?
I hate that stuff with a passion. I think after two weeks it got better, but the shakes and heart racing never went away.
I honestly don't remember him moving more, but not saying he did not.
